Strategic alliance between Reindex and KnowledgeGate

The need for knowledge in companies and organisations is above all covered through their employees.

To support this knowledge and to handle the acquisition of new ressources of knowledge we use formal systems storing and making knowledge available in the form of documents, databases, and other media.

The systems are based in archives, knowledge centres, mediateques etc. Libraries appear in many shapes and under many names - because they reflect a local idea or need.

The need for knowledge systems will not be less in the future, and libraries have varying needs since they're anchored in a concrete organisation..

Reindex and KnowledgeGate have just completed a project for Oticon A/S where we jointly delivered a system that integrates a local bibliographic database and orders for articles with an OpenURL Link Resolver solution.

Based on this experience we now extend and formalise the cooperation. Together we will develop and adapt knowledge systems for organisations. With our joint platform we we will be able to fulfill the needs of modern organisations.

KnowledgeGate and Reindex both have a strong base in the libraries of organisations. We understand their needs and together we can develop this basis for many years to come.
